Loch Duart expands into value-added production with the launch of two traditionally smoked salmon products, available online and direct to trade.

Scottish salmon farmer Loch Duart has launched a new smoked salmon range, offering two flavours—Signature Smoke and Double Smoked—cured and smoked over oak shavings by the company’s in-house team.

The products will be available in 100g retail packs and whole sides (1–1.5kg), sold directly through Loch Duart’s sales team and via its online shop from the week beginning 5 May.

Based in northwest Scotland, Loch Duart operates small-scale salmon farms in Sutherland and the Outer Hebrides. The company supplies premium salmon to high-end restaurants and retailers in the UK and overseas and has long positioned itself as a producer of low-volume, high-quality fish with a focus on sustainability and animal welfare.

The launch of a smoked range marks a move further into value-added production and follows sustained customer demand.
