Maritech CEO Odd Arne Mikalsen Kristengård passes away.
Maritech has announced the passing of its CEO, Odd Arne Mikalsen Kristengård, who died suddenly on 12 May 2025.
In a statement, the seafood software and technology company described Kristengård as a unifying leader with a strong commitment to both people and technology.
“He will be deeply missed. Our warmest thoughts go out to his family, friends and everyone who was close to him,” the company said.
Kristengård led Maritech, which provides digital solutions for landing, production, processing, trading, analysis, and logistics in the seafood industry.
The company’s CFO, Thomas Brevik, has stepped in as interim CEO.
