Innovasea announces leadership chnages in Norway.
Innovasea has announced two promotions within its Norway operations. Torstein Mellingen has been appointed Sales Director for the EMEA region, and Sigve Naustdal has been promoted to Managing Director for Innovasea Norway.
Tim Stone, Vice President of Innovasea, said, “Their documented results and deep expertise make them ideally positioned to lead our next growth phase. Their insights and experience will be crucial as we scale our operations and deliver innovative technology to the aquaculture industry.”
Mellingen, who previously led business development at Innovasea, will now oversee sales operations across EMEA, focusing on strengthening the European workforce through internal promotions and strategic hires in both Norway and Greece.
“I look forward to building a team that is agile, customer-focused, and able to deliver tangible value in every interaction,” Mellingen said.
Naustdal, who has been with Innovasea for over five years, steps into his new role after serving as Technical Director in Norway. He will work closely with Mellingen on recruitment and developing a long-term sales strategy.
“By redefining existing roles and creating new ones, we can better leverage the expertise within our team to meet customer needs more effectively,” Naustdal said.
Mellingen holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), while Naustdal has a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Bergen (UiB) and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Nord University.
