Acme Smoked Fish appoints Rob Snyder as incoming CEO as Eduardo Carbajosa announces retirement.

Acme Smoked Fish Corp. has announced the planned retirement of CEO Eduardo Carbajosa and the appointment of Rob Snyder as incoming CEO. Snyder will assume the role on January 1, 2026, following a six-month transition period focused on strategic planning.

Carbajosa joined the Brooklyn-based company in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer and has held a number of leadership roles over nearly two decades. He became President in 2020 and was appointed CEO in January 2024. During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding Acme’s operations domestically and internationally.

“Eduardo has helped guide Acme through meaningful growth and positioned the company for a strong future,” said Chairman David Caslow. “We’re thrilled to welcome Rob as our next CEO. His values, industry knowledge, and people-first leadership style make him the ideal person to lead us into the next chapter.”

Snyder most recently served as Acme’s Chief People & Sustainability Officer. He brings over 20 years of experience in seafood, sustainability, and organizational development. Over the next six months, he will lead long-term planning efforts ahead of assuming the CEO role in 2026.
