Fixed-cost salmon supply now available through Mowi Signature program.
Mowi has launched a new foodservice-focused product line, Mowi Signature, aimed at expanding access to Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)-certified Atlantic salmon across the U.S. market.
The program offers chefs pre-trimmed, fresh (never frozen) Scottish and Norwegian salmon, with fixed-cost contracts intended to reduce menu volatility. Fish are harvested at 4–8 kg and marketed for their firm texture, marbling, and consistent supply.
The initiative targets key foodservice concerns including sustainability, labour efficiency, and cost predictability. Mowi CP of Americas said the new line supports broader industry efforts to promote responsibly farmed seafood.
The launch aligns with ASC’s push to increase foodservice uptake of certified seafood. An ASC-Mowi buyer tour of Scottish production sites is planned for October 2025.
