Aquaservice appoints UK Sales Director as part of expansion.

Norwegian water treatment specialist Aquaservice has appointed Duncan Ockendon as Sales Director UK, as the company ramps up its presence in the British and European markets.

Ockendon, who holds a BSc in Applied Chemistry from the University of Hertfordshire, brings over two decades of experience in UV water treatment. He joins from Evoqua Water Technologies, where he served as Aquatics Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. His remit will include oversight of Aquaservice’s UV-range, with a particular focus on the aquaculture and pool/leisure sectors.

The appointment coincides with the opening of Aquaservice Water Engineering UK Ltd., a new headquarters based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. The facility includes offices, warehouse space, and a technical support and commissioning centre. The company says the new base will enhance its ability to serve customers across the UK and Europe, including in the Scottish aquaculture market.

Aquaservice was founded in 1985 and became independent again in 2021 following an employee buyout. Its products include filtration systems, UV disinfection equipment, and solutions for RAS plants.
