Sensor Globe appoints Kjetil Rosvold as sales manager.
Aquaculture technology company Sensor Globe has named Kjetil Rosvold as its new sales manager, with responsibility for strengthening the firm’s position in the sector and developing new market opportunities.
Rosvold joins from previous roles at Fishency Innovation and NORBIT Aqua, bringing extensive industry experience and a broad professional network. He takes up the position ahead of the Aqua Nor exhibition, where Sensor Globe will launch its Crowding Companion product.
CEO Sheamus MacDonald said the appointment comes at a strategic time for the company, whose main market is currently Norway. Head of Product Sebastian Gjertsen noted that the role attracted over 100 applicants and expressed confidence that Rosvold will help expand both the company and its sales organisation.
Rosvold said he aims to accelerate Sensor Globe’s market share, noting that the company has grown its customer and lead base each year since its founding more than five years ago.
Sensor Globe, which operates from offices in Oslo, Stavanger, and Nova Scotia, develops specialised sensors and services for risk and crowding operations in aquaculture markets in Norway and internationally.
