Kaldvík CEO Roy-Tore Rikardsen steps down.

Kaldvík AS chief executive Roy-Tore Rikardsen has stepped down with immediate effect, the Icelandic salmon farmer said on Thursday.

Rikardsen, who took the role following the resignation of the company’s founder and former CEO, will remain available until the end of February 2026 to support the handover.

The board has appointed Vidar Aspehaug, currently head of fish health and quality management, as interim CEO while it searches for a permanent successor. Aspehaug joined Kaldvík in 2022 and is the founder and former CEO of Norwegian fish health laboratory PatoGen AS.

Kaldvík is dual-listed on Euronext Growth Oslo and the First North Iceland Growth Market.
