Cflow signs contract to supply fish handling systems for Pure Salmon Japan RAS facility.
Norwegian fish handling technology supplier Cflow has signed a contract to deliver complete systems to Pure Salmon Japan, a land-based Atlantic salmon facility currently under construction in Mie Prefecture.
Announced during the Aqua Nor trade fair in Trondheim, the agreement will see Cflow supply equipment spanning the entire fish handling process — from smolt to slaughter — with a stated emphasis on fish welfare and operational efficiency.
Pure Salmon Japan, backed by the global Pure Salmon network, aims to produce up to 10,000 tonnes of Atlantic salmon annually using recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology. The site is considered one of the most ambitious RAS projects currently under development globally.
Cflow described the deal as a strategic milestone in its international expansion and invited attendees to visit its stand at Aqua Nor (F-512) to discuss future collaborations.
