Nofitech appoints new commercial director.
Norwegian aquaculture technology company Nofitech has appointed Trygve Øvergård as its new Chief Commercial Officer.
Øvergård joins from AKVA group, where he spent the past two years as key account manager responsible for major Nordic aquaculture clients and the company’s ROV portfolio. He has more than 14 years of sales and marketing experience, including eight years in B2B roles.
A materials engineer by training, Øvergård holds a master’s degree in technology management from NTNU. His career includes project and bid management for sensor technology at Force Technology, and global tender management for subsea systems at Siemens Energy.
Jan Arild Kingswick, chief executive of Nofitech, said the appointment adds commercial strength at a time when “technology and sustainability are becoming increasingly important.”
Øvergård said he looks forward to contributing to the development of next-generation recirculating aquaculture systems, building on Nofitech’s established RAS platform and Trondheim-based expertise.
Founded in Trondheim, Nofitech has positioned itself as a leading supplier of RAS technology for aquaculture in Norway and internationally.
