Mowi achieves record harvest volumes but lower EBIT in Q3 2025.

Mowi reported record-high third-quarter harvest volumes of 166,000 tonnes (GWT) in Q3 2025, up from 161,000 tonnes in the same period last year. The company had guided a harvest of 160,000 tonnes in its previous quarterly outlook.

Harvest volumes by region were:

  • Norway: 99.5 thousand tonnes

  • Scotland: 17.5 thousand tonnes

  • Chile: 22.5 thousand tonnes

  • Canada: 15.5 thousand tonnes

  • Ireland: 3.0 thousand tonnes

  • Faroe Islands: 2.5 thousand tonnes

  • Iceland (Arctic Fish): 5.5 thousand tonnes

Despite the record output, operational EBIT for the group fell to approximately €112 million, compared with €173 million in Q3 2024. The decline reflects lower prices and regional variations in performance.

The blended farming cost was €5.42 per kg, down from €5.72 a year earlier and stable from Q2 2025.

Operational EBIT per kilo through the value chain was approximately:

  • Norway: €1.10

  • Scotland: €1.55

  • Chile: €0.55

  • Canada: (€2.00) (Canada West €0.40)

  • Ireland: €0.20

  • Faroe Islands: €0.55

  • Iceland: (€1.10)

Operational EBIT in Consumer Products reached €66 million, while Feed recorded operational EBITDA of €26 million.

Reported net interest-bearing debt (excluding IFRS 16 effects) was approximately €1.76 billion at the end of the quarter, largely unchanged from a year earlier.

The full Q3 2025 report will be released on 5 November 2025 at 06:30 CET.
