Fluctus has appointed Stian Karlsen as sales representative for Northern Norway.
Karlsen brings more than 25 years of experience from the aquaculture industry, spanning food fish and fry production, research stations, and work related to documentation and certification. He is a trained teacher by background and most recently held the position of technical inspector at Aquastructures.
Previously, Karlsen worked at Nova Sea, first as an operations technician and later as operations manager.
“Fluctus has a strong domestic market, and with this appointment we are strengthening our permanent presence in Northern Norway. We have also recently hired a service technician in the same region. Stian will be a significant addition for us and for our customers in the north. He knows the industry well, has solid experience from fish farming, operational management, and deep technical insight,” said Harald Lien, managing director of Fluctus.
Karlsen said he is looking forward to joining the company and working with technological development in the sector, highlighting long-standing industry relationships and the current development phase of Norwegian aquaculture.
Karlsen started at Fluctus on 26 January and will be based at the company’s office in Bodø.
