Normex has signed an agreement with Helgeland Smolt for the supply of an ozone treatment and water clarification system to the company’s Sundsfjord recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) facility, according to a company statement.
The contract covers a turnkey delivery including ozone systems, control systems, integration works and customised Razone units for four post-smolt departments.
Normex said the solution is designed to support water quality, particle removal and biosecurity in land-based salmon farming operations.
The company has previously supplied Razone systems to Helgeland Smolt’s Reppen facility. The new agreement extends the commercial relationship between the two parties.
Managing director Stig Ove Johansen described the contract as a strategic milestone for Normex.
Terje Kilvik said the supplier’s familiarity with the company’s facilities would support stable and efficient post-smolt production in Sundsfjord.
Delivery is scheduled for October 2026, with installation and commissioning to be carried out jointly by the parties.
