AQS has ordered a new ROV and diving support vessel from Skarvåg Boats as the aquaculture service company continues to expand its fleet.
The vessel will be built to the Skarsvaag 1800 design, according to a statement released on Friday.
AQS recently announced orders for four additional service vessels from Salthammer Båtbyggeri.
Technical director Kim Aakervik said the new vessel was suited to the company’s requirements in quality, operational reliability and functionality.
Skarvåg Boats said the order marks the third Skarsvaag 1800 vessel to enter production.
Delivery is scheduled for 2027.
AQS provides marine services to the aquaculture sector, including diving, ROV operations, maintenance and logistics support.
