Aquaculture technology company Litus Akva has appointed Jan-Ove Hovdenak as chief operating officer, according to a post published by the company on LinkedIn.
Hovdenak brings more than 30 years of experience in technical sales, project delivery and management across industry, maritime solutions and aquaculture, according to Litus Akva.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the process, design and implementation of the company’s projects.
According to Litus Akva, Hovdenak has worked with equipment for the shipping industry, international sales and the design and delivery of aquaculture solutions. More recently, he has held roles involving recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), flow-through facilities and technical deliveries to the aquaculture sector.
“A lot of exciting things are happening in Litus, and it’s a journey I want to be a part of. At the same time, I get to work with an industry I know well, exciting projects and, not least, many talented people,” said Hovdenak.
The company said Hovdenak has already begun working with customers and ongoing projects as part of his onboarding process.
