Fish health company Previwo has signed a three-year supply agreement with Andfjord Salmon aimed at supporting fish health and production performance at the company’s land-based facility on Andøya.
Under the agreement, Previwo will supply its probiotic product Stembiont for use in Andfjord Salmon’s production operations at Kvalnes.
According to Previwo, Stembiont is based on more than a decade of research into naturally occurring marine bacteria and is designed to support biological functions and fish health.
The agreement follows a series of recent supplier and technology partnerships announced by Andfjord Salmon as it continues to expand production capacity at its land-based salmon farming facility.
