Waiting for results from three sites in Northern Norway.

In a post on the Oslo Stock Exchange, the salmon farmer NRS writes that its farming operations has suspicion of the fish disease ISA in the operating area Dønnesfjord (consisting of the sites Næringsbukta, Klubben and Børfjord) in Northern Norway.

NRS has 2.3 million fish with an average weight of 3.3 kilograms in this operating area.

The salmon farmer said it is awaiting confirmation from the analysis company for a final ascertainment of disease.

“The consequences of a possible disease detection are therefore difficult to estimate now. NRS continues to work to identify the extent of the infection and will come back to the consequences,” wrote NRS.
