AKVA group lands RAS contract with Cooke

The aquaculture company will build a post-smolt plant in Canada.
AKVA group announced on Monday morning that the wholly owned subsidiary AKVA group Land Based has been awarded a post-smolt RAS contract with Canadian Cooke Aquacultures (Kelly Cove Salmon).
The estimated contract value is €14.3 million.
The design work for the plant will start in August 2022 with commissioning in the fourth quarter of 2024.
