Aquabyte has appointed Kamilla Svindseth as Head of Sales for the North Atlantic and hired Åsmund Håvik as Head of Sales for Norway, effective 2 February 2026.

The Bergen-based company said the appointments follow a period of strong growth in 2025 and are intended to strengthen its commercial organisation as demand for its camera- and AI-based monitoring systems increases.

In her new role, Svindseth will be responsible for sales and business development across Northern European markets outside Norway, including Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Scotland and Ireland. She has previously worked within Aquabyte’s commercial team and is being promoted internally.

Håvik joins Aquabyte with experience from the aquaculture sector, including previous roles at Steinsvik and ScaleAQ, where he most recently served as Sales Director for Norway.

Chief commercial officer Thomas Fekete Rønningen said the company expects growth momentum to continue in 2026 and beyond, and that the two appointments will support expansion in both domestic and international markets.

Both Svindseth and Håvik will be based at Aquabyte’s headquarters in Bergen.

Founded in 2017, Aquabyte develops camera-based monitoring systems for sea- and land-based aquaculture, providing data on fish weight, growth, welfare, behaviour and lice levels, alongside decision-support and feeding assistance tools. The company also has offices in Puerto Varas, Chile, and San Francisco, USA.
