Scottish seafood processor Aquascot has been named Waitrose Own Brand Supplier of the Year 2026.
The Alness-based company supplies Waitrose’s own-brand Scottish salmon range as well as Scottish trout products. Aquascot has worked with the retailer since 2003.
The award was presented as part of Waitrose’s annual supplier awards programme and marks the first time Aquascot has received the recognition during its relationship with the supermarket chain.
Aquascot is one of Scotland’s largest employee-owned businesses and specialises in the processing of Scottish salmon and trout.
Maddy Wilson, director of own brand at Waitrose, said the award recognised Aquascot’s partnership with the retailer and its delivery of high-quality products.
The company said the recognition follows a period of investment in its workforce, facilities and customer partnerships.
