Aquaservice builds UK team after August hire as UV demand grows.

Aquaservice has appointed Adam Ashton-Burrows as Service Director UK at Aquaservice Water Engineering UK, with responsibility for service, maintenance and customer care for the company’s UV range, focusing on aquaculture and pool and leisure markets.

Ashton-Burrows studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Wigan and Leigh College. He has more than 15 years of experience with UV products and systems at ATG UV Technology and Evoqua Water Technologies, and most recently served as Technical Manager UK and Ireland at Xylem Water Solutions.

“Another scoop. We are thrilled to have Adam with us. His experience and knowledge are perfect for us moving heavily into the UK and European UV-market, following another strong hire with Duncan Ockendon in August this year. We see huge potential in the UK market, which is underpinned by these strong hires,” said Asgeir Skogstad, Aquaservice CEO.

Aquaservice recently opened its UK headquarters to support European operations. From the new location, the UK team will support, promote and sell water treatment technologies including advanced filtration and validated UV disinfection systems, as well as specialised solutions for the aquatics industry.

“Adam’s expertise will help us elevate our service delivery and ensure we continue to exceed customer expectations. With over 15 years’ experience in the water treatment industry and a strong background in UV technology and operational excellence, customer service innovation and team development, Adam will be crucial to our ambitions for the UK and European markets,” said Diane White, Managing Director, Aquaservice UK.

Founded in 1985, Aquaservice provides solutions for purification, transfer, cooling, heating and other treatment of water, including products for RAS plants. The company employs about 30 people and operates production and service facilities with CNC and welding capabilities. After periods within Ocea, Steinsvik and ScaleAQ, Aquaservice returned to independent, employee ownership in 2021.
