Aquaticode has signed an agreement with Ilknak to deploy its AI-based sorting systems across 300 million sea bass and sea bream juveniles.
The deal will see AquaLens technology rolled out across Ilknak’s hatcheries, enabling automated phenotyping and removal of weak fish at an early stage.
The agreement marks a large-scale move into Mediterranean species for Aquaticode, as the company expands beyond salmon-focused applications, according to the companies.
