Salmon producer Australis Seafoods based in Valdivia, Chile has named Andres Lyon as CEO.
Lyon was the CEO of Multi X (formerly known as Multiexport Foods) until 2020. He stepped down from the role in October of that year to become director and vice president of the company’s salmon producing division – roles he held until now.
At Australis Seafoods, he will be taking over the role of CEO from Ricardo Misraji. The company has 20 years of experience in salmon farming in the south of Chile.
Lyon has an Industrial Civil Engineering degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has more than 25 years of professional experience in multinational companies in the salmon farming sector.
