Vormedal will operate from Benchmark’s office in Hafnarfjördur.
Aquaculture biotechnology company Benchmark has announced the appointment of Sverre Vormedal as the new sales and technical manager for Iceland. Effective from June 3, Vormedal will oversee the company’s customers in Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
Vormedal brings extensive industry experience, having held various roles in the industry since 2011, including service boats, fish farming, sales logistics, and quality management.
Prior to joining Benchmark, he worked as a biological controller at the Icelandic producer Arnarlax. Living in Reykjavik since May 2022, Vormedal will operate from Benchmark’s office in Hafnarfjördur.
In his new role, Vormedal aims to provide robust sales and technical support to strengthen Benchmark’s position in the region. “I look forward to collaborating with our customers to find solutions that can increase their productivity and sustainability,” Vormedal said.
