Outgoing managing director Pablo Mazo spent three years in charge of Benchmark Genetics Chile.
Pablo Mazo, previously at the helm of Benchmark Genetics Chile, has relocated to Norway to assume his new duties as Performance and Documentation Manager, according to an update posted on LinkedIn.
Bertha Contreras will succeed Mazo as managing director in Chile.
In his new role, Mazo will be a member of the global production team under the leadership of Jonas Jonasson.
Taking over the reins in Chile is marine chemsit Berta Contreras, an alumna of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a degree in Marine Chemistry. She also holds an MBA from Universidad del Desarrollo. Contreras has previously held roles at Mowi Chile, Conecta SPA, and most recently serving as the Technical Manager and Head of R&D at Cermaq Chile.
