Aquafeed giant BioMar has announced the appointment of Einar Lilleeng as its new Production Director for its Norwegian division

In his new role, Lilleeng will oversee incoming logistics, raw material composition, and production at BioMar’s facilities in Karmøy, Rogaland, and Myre, Vesterålen.

Lilleeng, who began his career at BioMar in 2007 as a formulator at the Karmøy factory, brings a background in veterinary science and a Ph.D. in nutrition and health for farmed fish.

Over the years, he has risen through the ranks in the company and is currently part of BioMar’s leadership team, responsible for formulation and incoming logistics. His new role will expand to include production responsibilities.

“It’s an exciting and challenging opportunity to continue the excellent work done at our factories,” said Lilleeng. “We have very strong and dedicated teams, and my focus will be on maintaining our commitment to quality and customer service, as well as optimizing the flow of goods into our factories.”

He succeeds Arne Vilmar Larsen, who is leaving BioMar after 22 years to pursue new opportunities.
