More M&As in Chile as company purchase Salmones Ice-Val in multimillion dollar deal.
Blumar have announced in a financial report that it has bought 100% of Salmones Ice-Val for USD 51 million, as reported in Latercera.
In the deal, they’ll get five sea licences located in the Aysen Region, where three farms have produced a total annual production of 7,000 tonnes of salmon in the last two years. Ice-Val is privately-owned by Martin Balbi.
Blumar linked to the Sarquis family said that it wanted the purchase to deliver, in the medium term, stability in its salmon production program.
