Visscher Seafood changes name to reflect Norwegian focus.

Visscher Seafood Group has announced a full rebrand, adopting the name Norwegian Seafood across the parent company and all subsidiaries.

The move follows the group’s acquisition of Norwegian Seafood AS in 2023 and marks a strategic shift toward integration and brand unity across its operations.

“The Norwegian division now represents over 60% of our total revenue, and over 90% of our raw material is sourced from Norway,” said CEO Tim Brouwer. “This feels like the perfect moment to adopt this powerful name company-wide.”

Brouwer added that the rebranding is intended to create “one unified, strong company with a clear identity and purpose,” while ensuring brand clarity and operational synergy. The Visscher name will remain within the group as a standalone brand.

The rebrand reflects the company’s growing reliance on Norwegian raw materials and its ambition to position itself more clearly in the global seafood market.
