SalMar Q4 harvest volumes rise year on year, led by Northern Norway.

SalMar harvested 84,100 tonnes gutted weight in the fourth quarter of 2025, up from 73,800 tonnes in the same period last year, an increase of 10,300 tonnes or approximately 14 percent year on year.

Farming Central Norway harvested 43,400 tonnes in Q4 2025, compared with 39,700 tonnes in Q4 2024, an increase of 3,700 tonnes. Farming Northern Norway recorded the largest absolute growth, harvesting 36,900 tonnes in the quarter, up from 27,700 tonnes a year earlier, an increase of 9,200 tonnes.

Icelandic Salmon harvested 3,800 tonnes in Q4 2025, more than double the 1,500 tonnes recorded in the fourth quarter of 2024. SalMar Ocean recorded no harvest in the quarter, unchanged from the same period last year.

SalMar has said it will release its full Q4 2025 financial and operational report on 10 February 2026.

The year-on-year increase in Q4 harvest volumes reflects a stronger biological and operational performance across SalMar’s core Norwegian farming regions, particularly in Northern Norway, which accounted for the majority of the growth.

Growth in Central Norway was more modest but steady, indicating continued stability in the company’s largest production region. The more than doubling of volumes from Icelandic Salmon highlights the gradual scaling of SalMar’s Icelandic operations, although the segment remains small relative to the group’s Norwegian footprint.
