Nordic Aqua Partners reports strong harvest performance and biological metrics in Q2 2025
Nordic Aqua Partners has released an operational update for the second quarter and year-to-date period of 2025, highlighting steady progress in harvesting and continued strong biological performance at its land-based salmon facility in Ningbo, China.
During the second quarter, the company harvested 756 tonnes head-on gutted (HOG), reaching full Stage 1 run-rate by June. The average harvest weight in the quarter was 4.6 kg (HOG), or 5.6 kg live weight (LW), with a 99% superior grading rate. This brings total YTD harvest to 1,043 tonnes HOG, of which 955 tonnes were commercial, with an average harvest weight of 4.9 kg HOG (5.9 kg LW).
Production during the quarter amounted to 730 tonnes, bringing the total standing biomass to 2,625 tonnes. According to the company, production in late May and early June was affected by transfer activities for larger fish, temporarily reducing appetite and feed uptake. However, biological performance across batches remained strong, with good fish health, no maturation, and high survival rates reported.
Cumulative production for the first half of 2025 reached 1,662 tonnes.
Nordic Aqua Partners is the first fully integrated commercial-scale RAS Atlantic salmon farm in China. The company aims for an annual output of 20,000 tonnes (HOG) and is listed on Euronext Growth under the ticker NOAP.
