Dominique Duprat to leave role at France’s salmon smokers next month.
LSA reports that the CEO of Delpeyrat will leave his role at the food producer which makes smoked salmon and foie gras.
In 2018, SalmonBusiness reported that under Duprat’s helm, Delpyrat increased its focus on smoked salmon and its market share by 7.4 per cent.
To date, salmon now accounts for represents nearly 20% of the brand’s turnover.
According to LinkedIn, Duprat spent nine years at Delpeyrat, rising from Sales and Marketing Director in 2013 to CEO in 2017.
He also had high-level sales and marketing positions in Mars and Kraft.
In May, owners Maïsadour announced that Eric Humblot, former CEO of French canned tuna makers Saupiquet, will be running MVVH, the holding company that combines all of the Delpeyrat (salmon), Sarrade, Delmas and Comtesse du Barry brands.
