Construction is expected to start in May, and the new building will be handed over to the feed producer in mid-January 2025.

Danish feed giant Biomar has announced plans to construct a new admin centre in Myre, Norway.

The proposed structure will be a standalone two-story building, spanning a total area of 1,535 square meters.

The facility is designed to house a range of essential amenities, including a laboratory, changing rooms, and a canteen capable of accommodating up to 50 guests. Additionally, the building will feature office spaces and meeting rooms for up to 45 employees.

Local construction firm Øksnes Entreprenør has been entrusted with the construction responsibilities for the project.

“BioMar has been involved in building the local community in Myre for almost 40 years, and with a new administration building, everything is in place for us to also be part of the development for the next 40 years. We look forward to being able to offer our skilled employees a modern, functional and not least pleasant administration building, located right in the center of the Norwegian aquaculture and fishing industry,” wrote BioMar in a press release announcing the plan.
