Shetland Island-based Ocean Farm Services signed ownership of “Ronja Skye”, which was named “Ocean Aquila” in January.
BBC Shetland reports on Facebook that a fire broke out aboard the “Ocean Aquila” on Sunday afternoon.
It was reported that authorities were called out after a blaze broke out in the engine room. But it was quickly brought under control.
There have been no reports of any injuries amongst crew members.
According to data from Marine Traffic, the “Ocean Aquila” has been towed onshore to Scalloway.
The Scottish vessel service Ocean Farm Services (a merger of Aurora Marine & North Isles Marine) own the vessels.
The “Ocean Aquila” is a sister ship to Ocean Farm Services’ existing wellboat the “Settler” (formally Solvtrans’ “Ronja Settler”).
