Labelling error prompts recall.
The French supermarket chain Auchan is recalling a line of store-branded Scottish smoked salmon because of a labeling error. Marine Harvest Kritsen are the producers of the salmon.
Products are marked with a validity date of 29/12/2019 instead of 29/12/2018.
The 490 gram packs containing 14 slices carry the EAN barcode number 3 596 710 466 849.
Consumers are being urged to return it to Auchan stores for a refund.
