French water treatment specialist signs multinational deal with Innovasea

Water treatment systems specialist launches a into the North American aquaculture market.

Bio-UV Group, a water treatment systems specialist based in France, has forged a strategic partnership with Innovasea, a prominent aquaculture technology company headquartered in Boston, the company announced on Thursday.

This collaboration marks a significant step for BIO-UV Group, as it seeks to expand its presence in the North American market.

As part of the deal Innovasea will take Bio-UV Group’s products to the aquaculture market and modify them to meet the standards required for sale in North America.

The French group specializes in water treatment and disinfection technologies employing UV, ozone, salt electrolysis, and AOP (Advanced Oxidation Process).

Bio-UV Group’s pivot towards aquaculture gained momentum following its acquisition of triogen in 2019. Over the past two years, the group has dedicated over €1 million to research and development initiatives in the aquaculture sector, with significant contributions from its highly skilled ozone engineering team based in the United Kingdom.
