Gigante Salmon reported a harvest volume of 930 metric tons (head-on gutted, HOG) in the first quarter of 2026.
The harvested fish had an average weight of 2.8 kg HOG, with a superior share of 76%. The company reported an economic feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 1.19. Realised price in the quarter was NOK 78 (EUR 7.00) per kg HOG.
Standing biomass at the end of the period was 2,700 metric tons. Of this, Generation Autumn 2024 accounted for 1,000 metric tons, with an average weight of 3.7 kg. The remaining harvest from this generation is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
Generation Autumn 2025 accounted for 1,700 metric tons of biomass, with an average weight of 0.8 kg. Harvest is planned from the fourth quarter of 2026 through the second quarter of 2027.
The company plans to release 3.3 million smolt in autumn 2026.
Gigante Salmon said operations in the quarter were stable, with production developing in line with expectations.
