Grieg Seafood had high production costs in Q2

In Canada, production costs exceeded EUR 5.8 per kilo.

Grieg Seafoods’ total harvest volume for the second quarter was approximately 17,800 tonnes GWT. This excludes volumes from the Shetland operation which is classified as held for sale.

Harvest volume (tonnes GWT) by region for Q2 were:

  • Rogaland: 7,800
  • Finnmark: 4,800
  • British Columbia: 5,200

Average regional farming costs per kg for Q2 were:

  • Rogaland: EUR 4.4
  • Finnmark: EUR 4.8
  • British Columbia: EUR 5.8
