Atlantic Sapphire harvests 1,167t in Q2, with improved weights and sales price
Land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire ASA reported a harvest volume of approximately 1,167 tonnes head-on gutted (HOG) in the second quarter of 2025, down from 1,319 tonnes in Q1.
Net biomass gain during the quarter reached approximately 1,697 tonnes round live weight (RLW), up from 1,449 tonnes in the previous quarter. Standing biomass as of June 30, 2025, was reported at 3,235 tonnes RLW, compared to 2,997 tonnes at the end of Q1.
Operational performance and biological conditions during the period were described as satisfactory. The average harvest weight improved to 3.1 kg HOG, compared to 2.6 kg in Q1. The realized sales price also increased, averaging USD 9.27 per kg HOG, up from USD 8.30 in the first quarter.
Atlantic Sapphire’s land-based Bluehouse® facility in Homestead, Florida, remains in commercial operation with a Phase 1 harvest capacity of up to 9,500 tonnes per year. The company is progressing with its Phase 2 expansion, which aims to lift total annual production capacity to 25,000 tonnes, with a long-term target of 220,000 tonnes.
