Great Northern Salmon appoints Kevin Kelsey to lead early life stage operations.
12 June 2025 – Great Northern Salmon has announced that Kevin Kelsey, a long-time collaborator with the company, is formally joining the business full-time to lead its early life stage operations as part of the senior production management team.
Kelsey has been associated with Great Northern since its inception in 2022. His aquaculture career spans several decades, including over 20 years managing hatcheries for Vermont Fish & Wildlife. He also brings earlier experience from the formative years of the salmon industry in Maine.
Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Management and is recognised for his extensive practical expertise in land-based aquaculture and hatchery operations.
He is currently relocating to Millinocket, Maine, with his wife Diana. “Great Northern looks forward to finally welcoming you both to town this summer,” said CEO Marianne Naess.
