Heidenreich expands into aquaculture and industry with new appointment.
Heidenreich, the Norwegian plumbing and water infrastructure wholesaler, is expanding into new markets with the appointment of Anders Kallerud as sales, marketing and category director for industry and aquaculture.
Founded in 1904, Heidenreich has traditionally focused on heating, ventilation and sanitation as well as water and wastewater infrastructure. The company reported record results in the second quarter of 2025, with continued growth in its core segments. Management now sees further opportunities in adjacent sectors, including aquaculture, where demand for land-based systems and supporting infrastructure is increasing.
Kallerud, who has long experience in the industry, will lead the expansion. Heidenreich said customer feedback has been positive following his appointment and that the company received strong interest during its debut at Aqua Nor in Trondheim this summer.
Chief executive Roger Lunde said the company is well positioned to win market share. “Anders is the right man in the right place for Heidenreich,” he said, adding that the business plans to strengthen staffing and competence to support growth.
Planned measures include building a dedicated team for aquaculture and industry, expanding the company’s product range to become a full-service supplier, and adapting its e-commerce platform to improve sector access.
Heidenreich operates more than 30 branches across Norway and has been wholly owned by German group Cordes & Graefe KG since 2003.
