IFFO appoints new President and Vice-President for 2026–2027 term.
IFFO – The Marine Ingredients Organisation has announced the appointment of Adriana Giudice as President and Egil Magne Haugstad as Vice-President for the 2026–2027 term, following elections to its new Management Board.
Giudice is CEO of Peru-based Austral Group, one of the country’s leading producers of fishmeal, fish oil and frozen fish. The company operates four processing plants and a fleet of 19 vessels along the Peruvian coast.
Haugstad, CEO of Pelagia AS, serves as President of IFFO’s current 2024–2025 board and represents Europe. Pelagia is headquartered in Norway, with fishmeal and fish oil factories across Norway, the UK, Ireland and Scotland, and operates the world’s largest fleet for collecting salmon by-products.
Giudice said she looked forward to advancing IFFO’s global work on innovation and sustainability in marine ingredients. Haugstad said he was pleased to continue supporting IFFO’s efforts to strengthen collaboration and efficiency within the sector.
IFFO thanked outgoing board members Felipe Zaldivar, Fernando Ribaudo, Dan James and Johann Peter Andersen, and welcomed new members Cristian Larrain, Gustavo Delgado Aparicio, Hafthor Eiriksson and Bjorn Kwak to the board for the next term.
