IFFO, the global trade body representing producers and stakeholders in the marine ingredients industry, has opened registration for the IFFO China Summit 2026, scheduled to take place in Shanghai on 10–11 June.
The event will bring together participants from across the fishmeal and fish oil value chain to discuss market developments, regulatory trends, and supply and demand dynamics.
A side programme focused on China’s fish oil industry will take place on 10 June, followed by the main conference on 11 June, covering global market developments and regional outlooks including Northern Europe, Chile, Peru, India, Vietnam, and China.
According to IFFO, China is expected to account for 42% of global fishmeal consumption by 2034, based on OECD-FAO estimates.
