Salmon Evolution reports progress on Indre Harøy phase 2

Salmon Evolution CEO Trond Håkon Schaug-Pettersen has confirmed that construction of the company’s phase 2 facility at Indre Harøy is progressing well, with the site “starting to take shape.”

In a public update, Schaug-Pettersen said the company remains on track to bring the new facility into operation in early 2026. The expansion is a key element in Salmon Evolution’s strategy to scale land-based salmon farming capacity using its hybrid flow-through system.

The Indre Harøy site is located on Norway’s west coast and is being developed in multiple phases, with a total planned production capacity of 31,500 tonnes HOG annually.
