Gael Force delivers SeaQure containment system to Iceland’s Hábrún.

Inverness-based aquaculture equipment supplier Gael Force Group has completed the installation of its SeaQure range of containment systems for Icelandic fish farmer Hábrún.

The delivery, managed in collaboration with local service provider Sjótækni, includes pens, moorings, nets, and the company’s SeaQureMoor mooring grid, designed to withstand Iceland’s challenging marine conditions.

Equipment underwent technical analysis and simulations of wind, wave, and storm scenarios to ensure durability and operational reliability.

The site features 120m circumference pens with 500mm flotation pipes and the SeaQurePen Ultra, a steel-bracket pen designed for exposed aquaculture locations with heavy-duty galvanised brackets and engineered tie rods. Hábrún said the installation provides confidence in the resilience of its containment system.

Gael Force will display the SeaQurePen Ultra and other products at Aqua Nor in Trondheim, Norway, from 19-21 August.
