Head of Scale AQ Chile steps down after 19 years.
Carlos Arenas has resigned as CEO of Scale AQ Chile after 19 years with the company.
Arenas, 63, was first hired as a manager at Steinsvik in 2006 and continued as head of the Chilean subsidiary following the 2019 merger that created Scale AQ through the combination of Steinsvik, Scale AQ and AquaOptima.
He will remain with the company as a senior consultant until his retirement.
Ben Øksnes, managing director of Scale AQ CAS, has been appointed interim CEO during the transition. Øksnes previously lived in Chile and worked for Mowi Chile.
Scale AQ Chile employs about 200 people.
