Lerøy reports solid performance across all business segments.
Lerøy Seafood Group posted operational EBIT of NOK 680 million ($70.09 million) in the second quarter, supported by solid performance across all segments.
The Farming division delivered EBIT of NOK 256 million ($26.39 million), with record net growth, high survival rates and rising average harvest weights offset by low salmon and trout prices. Lerøy maintained its 2025 harvest guidance at 195,000 GWT.
The VAP Sales & Distribution segment reported EBIT of NOK 351 million ($36.05 million), its tenth consecutive quarter of year-on-year growth, driven by higher capacity utilisation and stronger activity with key customers.
Wild Catch contributed NOK 148 million ($15.11 million), supported by historically high cod prices. Lerøy said the outlook was more challenging with further quota cuts expected in 2026.
Chief executive Henning Beltestad said the results reflected the strength of the company’s integrated value chain. “I am pleased with the performance in the quarter, and we are delivering on the 2025 key targets communicated at our Capital Markets Day in 2022,” he said.
