Lerøy reports 48,900 tonnes of salmon and trout harvested in Q2.
Lerøy Seafood Group harvested 48,900 tonnes of salmon and trout (GWT) in the second quarter of 2025, up from 36,700 tonnes in the same period last year, according to a trading update published Friday. The figures exclude volumes from Scottish Sea Farms.
By region, Lerøy Aurora recorded a significant increase to 11,100 tonnes (Q2 2024: 5,100 tonnes), while Lerøy Midt harvested 16,900 tonnes (15,700 tonnes). Lerøy Sjøtroll delivered 20,900 tonnes, of which 9,800 tonnes was trout (Q2 2024: 15,900 tonnes, including 5,300 tonnes of trout).
In wild-catch operations, Lerøy Havfisk landed 17,700 tonnes, broadly in line with the 17,800 tonnes reported in Q2 2024. Cod made up 1,200 tonnes of the catch, down from 1,500 tonnes a year earlier.
