Low average weight offsets higher volumes in Atlantic Sapphire Q3 harvest

Atlantic Sapphire harvests 1,427 tonnes in Q3, sales price down to $8.58/kg.

Atlantic Sapphire harvested 1,427 tonnes head-on gutted (HOG) salmon during the third quarter of 2025, up from 1,167 tonnes in the previous quarter, the company reported in a trading update on Thursday.

Net biomass gain in the period reached 1,741 tonnes round live weight (RLW), compared with 1,697 tonnes in Q2. Standing biomass at the end of September totalled 3,215 tonnes RLW, slightly down from 3,235 tonnes at the end of the previous quarter.

The average harvest weight remained stable at 3.1kg HOG, while the realized average sales price fell to USD 8.58 per kilo, from $9.27 per kilo in Q2 2025.

Atlantic Sapphire operates its land-based Bluehouse facility in Homestead, Florida, with Phase 1 capacity of 7,500–8,500 tonnes annually. The company is developing a Phase 2 expansion that will increase total capacity to 25,000 tonnes, with long-term plans targeting more than 100,000 tonnes.
