Managing director of seafood analysis firm announces his departure

Kontali’s current lead started the role in 2020 when he replaced outgoing MD Anders Marthinussen.

Seafood analysis firm Kontali CEO Thomas Aas has announced his departure from the company.

“After four years in Kontali, it is time to look for other opportunities. It has been exciting four years, considering our development and achievements, with a transition into a new business model,” Aas wrote on LinkedIn on Friday.

Aas started the role in 2020 when he replaced outgoing MD Anders Marthinussen.

Prior to working at Kontali, Aas served as a director in Norwegian business services company Simployer.

“I am proud of what we have achieved together in Kontali,” he wrote. “This is an achievement based on the efforts from a team of 40 employees, working enthusiastically to build a new product platform.
