Norwegian salmon farmer Måsøval  has settled all legal disputes with Pure Norwegian Seafood (PNS) and the minority shareholders in PNS, the company said in an Oslo Børs disclosure on 28 June.

The agreement closes the cases between Måsøval and the minority shareholders, and between PNS and the minority shareholders.

The settlement followed dialogue between the parties, according to the disclosure. Its content is confidential. The court cases will conclude in line with the agreement.

“The parties are satisfied that the cases have been resolved and now look forward to putting the matters behind them,” Måsøval said. The parties offered no further comment.

The dispute had been pending before the courts. The settlement removes that legal overhang for Måsøval, which lists on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker MAS.

The next point to watch is the company’s upcoming financial reporting, which may indicate any financial effect from the resolution.
